Underlined is the goal/task

Italic means wins (unless it's a title.)

Bold means fails

Italics and bold means progress

Remember back when I said I didn't have goals for February, well even though this is a VERY late update, I did manage to work on some of my goals for whenever in February!

  • I finished Beyond the Bookery's website and started on the first launch of products

  • I got Seize the Fight submissions ready for March!

  • I start working on redoing my newsletter's automatic emails for new subscribers

  • And started my story for Seize the Fight... Which now has a name! Everly for Justice which may become Ever for Justice, I don't know yet or maybe Everly & Justice, but that doesn't include Caleb and he is a big part of it... Hmmmm, I don't know for sure yet.

Now as to March Goals, which I had and never shared...

  • Finish my StF story | Yes, yes, yes! I finished my first draft!

  • Work on one of my novellas | Yesss! I worked on ALWAYS which I am hoping to share with my newsletter in just a few months. Hopefully!

  • Do at least 10,000 words for Oh, The Lamented | Uhhh, nah, no. Oops, but I had other short stories I worked on and they all had deadlines that are coming up!

  • Write 30,000 words in all | Seeing as there were a lot of storms in March I had to lower my goal to 5,000 words in hopes of finishing my StF story... Which I did! I even ended up with 7,613 words!

  • Read 3 books of the Bible and try to catch up on my reading plan | Yeah, I failed this one... Reading has been a chore lately. I did read daily verses, and with my family though.

  • Go outside more | I went out on nice days!

  • Update my website and schedule some blog posts | Done!

  • Start working on spring social media themes | I figured out things I'd like to do for a while.

  • Share, share, share about the first launch of products from BtB and StF submissions being open | I did that some.

  • Schedule 10-15 social media posts for April | Ooops, I got lost in other things.

  • Send my newsletter | Did it!

Now for April goals... and what was accomplished.

  • Finish my surprise writing project | Ummmmmmmmmm, well. Le sigh. This story hasn't been listening to me much, lol. I'm nearly there!

  • Set up my new Bullet Journal | I love the setup I did in my journal for May! It's just so much fun to have a new journal and draw things myself in colors I liked.

  • Figure out business stuff | The answer to this goal is debatable. I left it pretty open for what I would work on. I figured out several things! I also realized there were other things I have to work out, but I made progress for sure.

  • Figure out if I will do a Kickstarter for Oh, The Lamented | I'm pretty confident that I will be doing a Kickstarter as I am hoping to get an audiobook of Oh, The Lamented done once OTL is edited.

  • Work on Seize the Fight release things | Accomplished!

  • Read a couple of books at some point ... maybe | I haven't read much at all, however, I started reading IRON by Madisyn Carlin.

  • Write as much as possible, but don't force myself to write every day | I did nearly 15,000 words which is amazing for a non-writing challenge month.

  • Write a short story for an anthology (not my own) | I did it! Born Royal is an old writing idea that I finally wrote a part of. I'll know if it was accepted or not sometime next month.

  • Send my newsletter | I sent it out and it was only a day late!

  • Go outside a lot | Yep, I was outside a lot! We worked on the yard, and garden, set up the chickens' area, built some stuff, and so many other outside projects which have been fun, hard, and fulfilling. It's been somewhat annoying how many things needed to be repaired or leftover messes to be fixed from the old owners of the house.

  • Read at least one book of the Bible | I actually read a book of the Bible. It was a short book of the Bible. I did better and I read at least a verse to a chapter over half of the days last month.

Other things I accomplished in April (not on my goals list.)

  • Wrote my Seize the Moment story | My short story was actually something of a rewrite of an old story that ended up basically giving me the idea for my actual story.

  • Started some new virtual assistant work | It's been fun to do official VA work that's not in trade, for a friend, or family. I've done VA for a while now, I just haven't done it for money until now.

  • Got Seize the Fight up for pre-order | Which you can find here!

Now for my May goals...

  • Finally finish Oh, The Lamented and get ready to give it to my editor

  • Finish my secret project

  • Read at least 5 books

  • Blog more ... I've seriously fallen behind on blogging.

  • Keep up with my bullet journal

  • Write a short story

  • Create a new playlist

And that's it. I really just want to finish OTL so I don't have many goals for this month.

Do you have any goals for the month?
