Little Ramblings and Summer

Writer's picture: Abigail Kay HarrisAbigail Kay Harris

I meant to take the whole summer as a break to deal with medical things.

Long story short, I needed to go with a new doctor so some things are postponed till later on and I'm semi back from my hiatus.

The break has been good for me, and I am working on behind the scenes things for both Beyond the Bookery and my own writing.

To be honest, this summer has been pretty crazy.

The PO was settled for a year without having to go into court. That was a huge relief.

I had an ER visit, but it wasn't horrible (first time ever that I actually dealt with staff who didn't cause issues.) and I found a new doctor to help with things. So, that was good too.

I've gotten a large portion of things planned out for Beyond the Bookery for the next 2 years. It's amazing and I am so excited to continue working with Mountain Peak Edits & Design (Madisyn Carlin) on various projects.

I finished writing several shorter stories and replanned Oh, The Lamented's ending. It's so much better this way. I might even have a final publishing date decided... We'll see later this month. I've made progress on A Noble Assassin and even a novella, Always, which has been a project sitting for much too long, and an undisclosed WIP.

I've restarted my newsletter.

But, mostly, I've not done much. However, it has been nice to just take a step back from social media posting.

I do hope to get back to posting with a new schedule that actually works for me.

What have you been up to this summer?
